Our History

The Society of Staffordshire Artists, which was founded in 1933, has within its ranks some of the most accomplished and well-respected names in the Staffordshire art world, both professional and non-professional.

Throughout its history, the focus of the society has been both inclusive and encouraging, offering opportunities for all members to develop as practitioners and exhibit in a range of exhibitions throughout the year.

The Society is aware that coming together and sharing ideas is crucial in the success of any organisation, and to this end, the Society has an ongoing diary of activities, including organising exhibitions, painting and drawing days, gallery visits, talks, and other social activities.
