Staffordshire-born Art & Textile Creative whose practice combines mixed media, creating across both 2D and 3D forms. She is passionate about the creative process, from developing the initial idea through to experimenting with and mastering different materials to create highly detailed finished pieces.
Her practice has evolved considerably over recent years and continues to develop and grow. She embraces the unpredictability of creativity, never quite knowing where her ideas will take her next. For Angela, the journey of experimentation, discovery and making is an exciting and integral part of her work. She is passionate about the details that attract attention. This experimentation carries through to her landscape watercolours, where the addition of different materials creates further interest, texture and depth. Her work reflects a constant curiosity to explore what can be achieved through combining materials and techniques.
Angela has exhibited regularly at the Three Counties, Brampton Open, Macclesfield Open, and Uttoxeter Quilt & Stitch Show, her work receiving recognition along the way. Her solo exhibitions have included Keele Chancellor's Building , Salford Theatre & most recently at The New Vic Theatre.
